Sun Villages are to develop a ProActive Resort on the island of Cyrus which will be the first of a number of retirement communities throughout the Mediterranean. Investors can either purchase units and lease them back to the operating management group or participate in the resort by direct investment into the development.
The investor will be able to select from the whole inventory available dependent on the capital available in their pension arrangements.
The units are priced at a discount and under pension rules up to 50% of the available pension fund can be raised as a loan allowing the investment to be geared to increase the asset value.
The investment can be realised at any time with a strong re-sale market supported by the developer or it can provide long term income. A very strong investment return equivalent to 10% plus per annum is predicted after the first two years and considerable capital appreciation is expected with built in equity from the start.
