Thai tourism set for a boost

Tourism in Thailand is set for a boost with Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2008, which is being held in June.
The three day event in Bangkok has lined up almost 400 tourism organisations and businesses from Thailand to take part in the event.
It is great news for anyone who owns an investment property in Thailand as the event will help the raise the country's profile.
As well as the Thai companies that will be involved, 473 organisations from 63 countries, including the UK, USA and Australia, will be present.
Thailand is already a hugely popular tourist destination among travellers from across the world.
Many people choose to buy an investment property in Thailand after visiting the country for a holiday.
It is home to some breathtaking natural beauty and many interesting places of historical significance.
The country has a large number of Buddhist temples, among the most popular of which are Phra That Chae Haeng, in Nan Province, and Wat Phra That Phanom, in Nakhon Phanom Province.
