St Lucia is attempting to boost its profile as a foreign property destination.
According to minister for tourism senator Allen Chastanet, St Lucia has signed up to a new website aimed at providing information on tourism and investment in different locations worldwide.
It is good news for anyone considering buying an investment property in St Lucia as it means the island's profile will be raised globally.
"As St Lucia's tourist industry continues to evolve and expand there is a need for us to invite our local operators as well as investors and developers from around the world to assist us in the development," said Senator Chastanet during the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference in Trinidad.
"TourismROI gives us one central place to present our B2B information and investment opportunities to all participants," he added.
St Lucia is a small island nation in the Caribbean Sea and is hugely popular among tourists.
Many people choose to buy an investment property in St Lucia as the country is well known for its large festivals.
La Rose and La Marguerite are two of the largest and most popular, and often attract visitors from across the globe.
