Polish retail outlet provides incentive for tourists

Monday 23 June 2008

The Polish tourist industry has received a boost as Inter IKEA Centre Group (IICG) has announced that it will be delivering a large retail space in Warsaw.

It is planned that the space will be used as a retail park which will attract visitors from within Poland as well as overseas tourists that want to shop on holiday.

IICG will be working in co-operation with the property developers McArthurGlen Group who are the owner and manager of many outlets in Europe.

PMR Business has reported that this will be the first large outlet in Poland "to sell prestigious brands with permanent discounts of up to 70 per cent".

Targowek in Warsaw will house the new outlet village which will take up 30,000 square metres of space.

MacArthurGlen Group already own 80,000 square metres of space on the Warsaw plot and tourists and residents can visit IKEA and Decathlon.
Warsaw is a popular destination for tourists interested in culture and is home to over 30 major theatres including the National Theatre (founded in 1765) and the Grand Theatre in Warsaw (established 1778).ADNFCR-1590-ID-18650708-ADNFCR
