Monday 12 May 2008
A major new hotel is set to open in Bahrain's capital Manama, potentially boosting tourism in the country.
The Kempinski Hotel, Bahrain City Centre, will add an additional 200 rooms to the country's growing hospitality facilities, reports the Gulf Daily News.
It is great news for anyone considering buying an investment property in Bahrain as it is a sign of the island's growing economy and appeal to tourists.
Commenting on the plans for the hotel, MAF Shopping Malls senior vice-president Shahram Shamsaee said that he is keen to continue to develop in Bahrain due to the strong economy.
"Bahrain's economy is witnessing a boom and in line with our plans to develop and expand in the region, we will be completing this project by mid next year," he said.
Many people choose to buy investment properties in Bahrain due to the country's booming economy which has presented many opportunities to investors.
In addition, the country is widely considered to be more liberal on many issues in comparison to some of its Middle-Eastern neighbours.
