Caribbean property insurance firm appoints new COO

A Caribbean property insurance specialist has announced the appointment of a new chief operating officer who has over 20 years experience in the industry.
Cayman Net News Online reported the news of Paul Inniss' promotion to COO of Island Heritage on Monday (June 2nd).
Mr Innis has worked for the company since 2003 as regional manager for their Barbados branch and will be taking over from Garth MacDonald, who has been appointed chief executive.
Mr MacDonald explained the company's strategy: "We have a growth strategy that will enable us to provide many home and business owners with property insurance they can afford, and Paul’s experience and expertise in the Caribbean property market is invaluable."
Island Heritage is planning to expand its business to the south-east Caribbean and Mr Macdonald has said he is "confident we have every chance of success thanks to the strength and expertise of our team and our new COO".
The Caribbean islands are made up of a chain of 7,000 islands, islets, reefs, and cays 4,020 kilometres (2,500 miles) long.
