It is great news for anyone considering buying an investment property in Bahrain as easy access will open up a whole new market in the country.
The Friendship Bridge is expected to cost around $3 million (£1.5 million) to build and will take around 60 months to complete.
Bahrain is home to many of the world's largest structures, including the impressive Bahrain World Trade Center.
The giant structure consists of two towers which reach 240 metres into the sky.
Many people choose to buy investment properties in Bahrain due to the country's relatively liberal stance as well as fantastic investment opportunities and booming economy.
