US cruise operator MSC Cruises has announced a new line up of Caribbean itineraries for the 2009-10 season.
For the first time, the company will offer seven-night and ten-night eastern and western European round-trip cruises on its newest and largest ships, MSC Poesia and MSC Magnifica.
Tours feature many of the Caribbean's most popular ports as well as lesser-known gems, such as Playa del Carmen, Curacao and Aruba.
It is hoped that the new cruises will boost tourism to the islands, something that could benefit investors with rental properties in the region.
Eastern Caribbean Enchantment routes call at San Juan, Phillipsburg, Roadtown and Nassau; while the western Caribbean Island Treasures & Ancient Temples journeys stop off at Playa del Carmen, Georgetown, Montego Bay and Nassau.
Research published last month indicated that a growing number of people are choosing to invest in property in far away locales, such as the Caribbean. According to estate agent Savills, there are over 425,000 UK owned properties overseas. |
