A fund manager has said she believes that now is the 'right time to buy in to the Spanish and UK property markets'.
Speaking to Citywire, Barbara Knoflach, manager of the SEB Immolnvest fund, says that despite recent market volatitlity, she still sees "a positive outlook for real estate".
Ms Knoflach explained her position: "I am seeing two markets where we are starting to see investor activities again - in the UK and Spain. Both markets have seen very heavy corrections. In Spain, logistics properties are already at a level where we can buy again."
She continued: "Overall as core investors, it is a good time to buy. For the first time in four to five years we are back to the fundamentals of real estate investing."
According to the Telegraph, current tight economic conditions mean that "a market slump in southern Spain is seeing vendors and developers offering some breathtaking discounts". |
